The Delta Riggs - Rah Rah Radio (04/04/2013)
The Delta Riggs have released their brand spankin’ new single Rah Rah Radio. With their debut album HEX.LOVER.KILLER set to release this month, this incredibly feisty track was a sweet little teaser for what to expect from this Melbournian five-piece.
True to the DIY ethos of garage rock ‘n’ roll, this track bursts through your speakers and taunts you with the repeated phrase of “You shoulda go back to where you came from.” Incorporating a mix of psychedelia, punk and blues, this grunge group have created a defiant and effective single.
As a result, a highly anticipated and intriguing aura surrounds their upcoming album release, and all from a young Melbournian band who have dug their feet so far into the ground of rock ‘n’ roll that they couldn’t possibly fall through the cracks.
Following several recent appearances at festivals around Australia, including the Big Day Out, Peats Ridge and Pyramid Rock, and fresh from supporting The Divine Fits, The Delta Riggs are gearing up for a national tour all of their own. They’ll be kicking off their HEX.LOVER.KILLER shows on April 11th in Brisbane with the support of Perth rockers, and Triple J favourites, Stillwater Giants. If you think that your world is lacking in some fresh rock ‘n’ roll in its most unadulterated form, then don’t miss The Delta Riggs – your hope will be restored.
